undefined-variable-and-constructor-deprecated

Dan asked 2 weeks ago

I believe our site was updated to the most recent version of WordPress recently and we are now getting the following messages on the home page of the site:   Notice: Undefined variable: notoptions in /services/webpages/a/l/alaskaairforwarding.com/public/wp-includes/option.php on line 93 Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget in MY_PostWidget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use __construct() And a few more like that second one. I understand that this is from a dated plugin and I believe it to be the Cherry framework, as the version says \”Version 1.2.6\” and the link to the site is broken (and says it was in beta). So clearly it\’s dated, but there was no \”update\” button for it so I guess it flew under the radar. We have all the site\’s info in the current Cherry framework\’s options and whatnot. What would be the best way to update the plugin while keeping all the current site\’s data intact?

Just an addition – I mispoke, the framework is version 3.1.5 and it is using the “Cherry plugin” of version 1.2.6. Is there an updated version of the cherry plugin that works with this framework?
